For me, this means seeing life as a bunch of pillars (work, relationship, friends, location etc.) and changing only 2-3 of them at a time, while keeping the others constant.

I love that way of conceptualizing growth-focused stress! Reminds me of Paul Bloom's discussions on the benefits of chosen suffering.
